Alhambra, CA (AKA "A-ham-ba"): FOB capital of Southern California. Once I find something that's better than minimum wage or my worker's comp check comes in (long story involving stress disorders), I can't wait to get out of this area.

(Oh and by the way, I'm half Asian so I reserve the right to make fun of my race, especially since if I had a dollar for every "in China we do things this way" to circumvent a law, every accident close call I've had, or the weird shiz I see around here like using a baby stroller as a shopping basket or welding mask-like contraptions as a substitute for sunglasses, I wouldn't need to wait to be able to afford moving expenses)

HA! Nice... I know that I can't avoid every single FOB, but there's a difference between such a minimal encounter that it almost never affects anybody's day, or an area where you can't throw a dead cat through the alley without hitting someone that, like my parody poster implies, is like watching a bunch of Borat-like events unfold (and yes, come to think of it, I have seen an old lady squat over a storm drain to do business).

nice! its crazy sat and sundays its SLAMMED, monday-friday its a ghost town. I like it bc there is no crime and its very quiet. Its perfect for 30 year old who acts like they are 80

IF OC is slow, you want nothing to do with the 'Nard. I like it because I'm far enough away from LA traffic, but can still drive an hour into that mess to see a game or concert.

chickens and a turkey? yea, i would be out of me realm for sure. i'm originally from chicago so i'm still learning what's what. i don't want the madness of the large cities anymore but i'm also not ready to completely disconnect yet. maybe costa mesa will be good.
