Do M Performance accessories ever go on sale?

Hi all. Just wondering if you've ever seen a sale on the m performance accessories? I'm looking at adding a few of them to my F31 and wondering if they are ever on sale.

Some dealerships may give you a discount off MSRP if they are feeling nice. Other than that getbmwparts gives some good discounts on M performance parts and have seasonal specials that you can take advantage of.

ECS... best bet IMO.
BMW may send some cards to me every few months for a discount, but I doubt they will ever let go of a carbon fiber performance strut for 800 like ecs did a while back...

Yeah BMW is horrible about putting anything on sale for cars or motorcycles usually discounted items are part of some other promotion.

Shop competitive dealer parts operations. They routinely offer at least 20% off.

Always on sale here: https://thebmwminipartstore.com

The price and service are great but the website isn't so I recommend you research the part numbers somewhere else like realoem.com.

One of the reasons I'm on here is to buy the parts I want for my car second hand

Otherwise getBMWparts.com is pretty competitive for pricing. Their seasonal discounts aren't really worth waiting on, since it's usually something like 10% of shipping or whatever.

Sometimes when the accessories are for cars that are 7 + years old they might start blowing these out of inventory. That is what I observed when I bought BMW PE, intake and strut for my E46 when the E90s were almost at the end of their run. I got those for 1/2 price or less and took them off the car (except for the exhaust) when I sold it and recovered most of what I paid.

Scan the member classifieds on this site and you can usually find some deals; I recently purchased an M Performance Rear Diffuser for a very good price.

People part out cars all the time and that's usually a good opportunity for buyers.I can't speak for all of the forums but the M5 forum has an active members classifieds section.

Good luck.

They did pre-Xmas sales, or at least spammed me about those; probably do s/t again for spring. You could see if BMWCCA has deals or discounts - they have a big rebate program for the cars themselves. And make sure to ask your salesman a few times so they know you are into it. Mine will occasionally send me info or coupons on promos.

My parts department usually gives me 10% to 15%, at least, off BMW OEM parts, even when it is in for service, when I show them my BMWCCA member card.

Discounts on M Performance Parts can be found on eBay offered by genuine BMW dealers across the country. BMW of El Cajon, my local dealer, recently offered the CF Rear Diffuser for the M3/M4 for less than $999. I know the parts guy and he told me he would sell to me at that price, so I picked it up when I was in for my 10K service. I've been watching the price of that for the last year and it was the lowest price I had found anywhere.

Various dealers offer discounts on shopbmwusa.com. You have to "Pick a center" and there may be discounts that pop up, depending on the item. I bought my MPE and my CF Rear Spoiler from Advantage BMW in Houston for 25% off.

Edited to add: getbmwparts.com (Tischer BMW) very often has very good prices on M Performance Parts.

BMW NA also ran a very-limited time program last year where you could buy certain BMW parts, including M Performance parts, from any BMW dealer, at any price, submit the paperwork, and receive a Visa gift card for 25% of the purchase. I applied that to my MPE, and other parts that I bought during the specified time period, and received 25% back. This brought the price of the MPE from $4,400 MSRP down to $2,475 ($4400 x 0.75 = $3300. $3300 - 25% = $2475 for a total discount of 43.75%.

I found through members here to email CHeck@sterlingbmw.com, I am not sure what he can do for you but he has done some nice discounts for me and some other members here. Just mention the forum.

In San Diego County we only get 15% from a few BMW dealers, others don't give any BMW CCA discounts.
