Procedure

This applies to vehicles that have a mileage of more than 1,200 miles on the odometer and have more than 2700 miles remaining before first engine oil service is due. Wait until the vehicle has accrued more than 1200 miles to perform the procedure.

Vehicles with less than 2,700 miles remaining until the first oil service is due:
No further action required. Oil will be changed at first service.

Vehicles with greater than 1,200 miles on the odometer and more than 2,700 miles remaining until the first oil service is due:
Replace the engine oil and engine oil filter as per repair instruction for engine oil service. The dealership should not reset the CBS for the engine oil change.
