I have lived here 12 years and love it. Lots to do and no more than a 3 hours Southwest flight to most anywhere else in the country if you just have to get away....
Nissan's new headquarters building is in the nicest area of Nashville suburbs. There are at least 50 different places to eat, big mall, movies, good bars, great car audio store, 3 starbucks, nicest apartments, 10 nice subdivisions and etc. etc. etc.....WITHIN 2 miles of new Nissan building......

Sweet! That pic was taken at M'boro Rd and Bell Road if not mistaken. Lived there for 18 yrs.

Close.....Murfreesboro road but it was about a mile away from Bell Road....

Off topic but Nissan should have stayed in So Cal <--the country's largest car market + design studio is here + the cars come from Japan to Long Beach. Nashville is to Nissan like 'Borat' is to a rodeo

Their image: cool quirky (think surfer meets computer geek + performance oriented drive) is GONE.

They lost half their staff in the move and are losing staff by boat loads especially after those 'stay one year please' moving bonuses were up (and folks can't leave b/c they can't sell their houses). And many of their cool employees have been replaced by laid off fearful Ford/GM rejects.They are in a tail spin right now with their marketing (hint).

Obviously, I know a bit about this situation b/c I am close to the company
