TV function issue

Hello,

I have a 2018 740i Japanese version but im located in Cyprus .

Unfortunately the TV does not work, i'm guessing that the Japanese frequencies are different to the European.

Is this something that can be fixed by coding or must the TV module be changed ?

Could anyone shed some light for me please ?

Skip live tv and try a streaming device like a Google Chromecast with android TV. I have one that's plugged into an Anker 40w usb c car adapter. I use the WiFi hot spot/tethering from my phone for internet access. It works great and I have access to everything I watch at home.

Japan, China and Brazil have their country specific TV modules. I guess they have some different broadcast specifications than our DVB-T. You need to swap TV module.
