Extended Warranty. Viable Options?
Hello all. I hope this is the right place to put this. I have an f30 and the manufacturers warranty ends this year. What viable options do I have for solid extended warranties (other than bmw because money)?
Do people have good experiences with Route 66? That is offered through my credit union. Any suggestions for other companies would be good! |

Many companies out there, shop around, get quotes from all (try to stick to the same coverage plan across board to compare).
carchex, Fidelity Warranty Services, Premier Warranty (PWI) just to name a few (that I have recently contacted myself regarding plans for our X1 ) Route 66 seems to be very consistently priced which I am not sure is good/bad. I have not researched them much but PenFed lists it as well. I have had experience with PWI for a 335d (decent experiences in one 1500 repair) and two claims with Fidelity Warranty on a 2007 Cayman which was also pretty strait forward though I was annoyed they didn't pay for an alignment after I had to have the steering rack replaced. The exclusion is there to prevent people from hitting a pot hole and aligning under warranty...but they used the clause. Is what it is. For any exclusionary policy read it very carefully as well. - b |

Just bought Route 66. Used them before on e90 and no issues at all. I think it is cheapest I could find and with $0 deductible. It's little pain to get it as it is offered through credit unions only and they all offer different prices
