Just picked up my Black 750i

Hi folks

Just picked up my car and drove it back in sports plus mode and all I can say is wow...it felt as powerful and agile as an m5 but a slightly smoother ride..the technology is phenomenol and a bit overwhelming at first...i was also worried about my interior -nappa black with fineline wood trim but was pleased with the end result...I am traveling but will post pics soon after I return

congrats!

Congratulations!! Enjoy the ride - I know I am...

Definitely not as powerful as an M5 - but still exciting. My 2008 M5 is definitely a muscle car ride and you want to race everyone (or vice versa) when you're in it. This is more Bond like (sorry Aston Martin..) - smooth, intelligent, and full of tech.

Just got back from my travels..here are the pics as promised...some more thoughts...it is no doubt a phenomenol car but out of my options so far I reallly feel the camera package and the hud are the most useful..comfort access is abit temperamental when shutting the door..lane departure warning can be annoying at times albeit its probably my bad driving..havent quite figured out my my best driving mode when I am not in sport plus..yet to test night pedestrian detection and blind spot warning

I dont know whether any one of you have noticed but the front grill is different in cars with night vision-9 vertcal grills as opposed to 13 to make way for the night vision camera- from an overall look of the car it doesnt seem to make much difference

You are correct, my sales brochure mentioned that too.

This is from my post about my configuration:

Night Vision w/Pedestrian Detection, (Kidney Grille Design Modified to Support Infrared Camera).

It didn't exactly explain what the difference is only that it needed to be modified to support the night vision camera. I guess thanks to you, now we know

You can see the night vision camera in the right hand grill between the first and second vertical slats from the right (it's a small little dot in the above picture)!

It also appears that the chrome surround is wider on the night vision version grill!

The tail pipes on the 760 do looks SWEET

Unfortunately, it seems it's not just a matter of replacing the tips alone

Have a look at my other thread about the different exhaust tips:
