What's sad - I have season tickets to the Deacon games through work, and only go for the top tier ACC games...

I'm a WFU alum... Haven't been to a game in years... Fortunate to have been there during the Chris Paul years.

My HS girl went to UNC - her roommate dated one of the players on the team.

I had tickets to all the games This was during the Laettner and Hurley run, Walt Williams at Maryland, etc...

Laettner use to be a big deal when he was first non NBA player 92 to play the dream team. What a hype.

Danny Manning at Clippers. Watched him play when I was little.

He was such a bust in the NBA...just like every dook player under coach K who went on to the NBA.

Also - his bench has been a who's who of former 'All Conference' players on great college teams that have been cut from every NBA roster and foreign leave...

Heels played well, but Melo Trimble went off....good to have Marcus back on the court too.

Maryland will be a force in the Big 10 this year, but had far too many turnovers in this game.
