I hope so, even though I doubt we would ever see this in a USA model

Leather/alcantara is something I really want to experience, tho I image its going to wear pretty fast. But its worth it

Being exposed to the new 7 for about a week now, I went from hate , to indifference , to love. This car is sheer elegance and class. I know why some people don't like it , becuase it's not "sporty" and doesn't have spoilers and aggressive bumpers and skirts etc, thats fine by me. I'll take elegance anyday....

just coming back from my dealer...he had a big dealer-picture-brochure (not the sales brochure) with awesome fotos in it and if I say awesome, I mean awesome!!

They are sweeping away all the pictures shown in the internet until today...driving me totally crazy about this car!!

Watch out for it at your dealership - it has a big "7" in front and is leather covered outside.

So are U.S. versions going back to 740 designation because the twin-turbo is a 4.0 V8, right? does anyone know if we will get the 730d version?

no, it's a 4.4 L V8, and it will be the 750i and 750Li (X6 with same engine is already dubbed X6 xDrive50i)

Just for reference

E38 7 series: 4.4L V8 = 740i/740iL
E65/E66 7 series pre facelift: 4.4L V8 = 745i/745Li
E65/E66 7 series facelift: 4.8L V8 = 750i/750Li
F01/F02 7 series: 4.4L V8 = 750i/750Li
