Beautiful Alpina B7 Biturbo spotted minding her own business at the gas station

Its no secret. I love Alpina cars But love afair aside, it is a rare sight to see an Alpina car on the road. The guys at Autogespot have done just that and spotted a B7 while refuelling somewhere in Belgium. This car will be arriving in the USA soon enough and I have a feeling there will be quite a few people queing up to buy this car.

Just to recap. 4.4l twin-turbo V8 producing 500HP. More information on the Alpina B7 can be found here.

Enjoy

Check out the wheels. If you go to the Alpina configurator http://www.alpina-configurator.de/ the only wheel choices on the B7 are the Alpina Classic 21s, which are also the only wheels we've seen in the B7 pictures so far.

The wheels in these photos appear to be the Alpina winter tire and wheel combo described here:
http://www.alpina-automobiles.com/en...-7-series.html

Quote:
BMW 7 Series (F01/F02)
Winter Wheel

8.5 x 19” 245 / 45 R 19 102V front
8.5 x 19” 245 / 45 R 19 102V rear

with tyres Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3
Very apropos since I was wondering about winter tires for the B7.

wheels don't appear wide at all.... I don't get it, for all that power the car couldn't be equipped with proper wheels?

Those look like winter tires. For winter tires, the narrower the better (up to certain point that is)!

LOL, this is very exceptional for a country where 80% of the population drives a diesel-car...

Petrol FTW! Nice car

I like how the traditional "Alpina stripes" and logo are de-emphasized on the lower from bumper cover....smooth

I actually very much prefer the Alpina Classic 21"s:

They come in black as well:

Black B7 + Black Classic 21"s=

The 19" "Dynamics" look better from the side though:

Yeah I think those are Dunlop Winter Sport 3D's. I have the same treads on my car.

I think the car looks stunning, I dont even mind the wheels.

But correct me if I am wrong, why did they retain the same engine from the E65/66 Alpina B7 is beyond me...

I mean they should have bumped up the power on this F01 B7.

The previous and current generation Alpina B7 have the same engine!

The 760Li went from 438hp 445lbft to 544hp and 553lbft, now thats progress
