Refinishing a BBS DBK finish?

anyone refinish a BBS DBK finish? DO they have to take it apart to refinish it or can they just touch up a scratched spoke. How much to refinish a set of wheels usually. I am thinking about this set of RSGT but there is some damage on em. Thanks for any help.

There is damage on the finish? I thought that there was slight bit of damage to the lip section, not to the center section?

There is some damage to the spokes. Thats why I'm iffy on it. If just the lips I know it'll be no biggie.

Sorry, but you CAN'T refinish a BBS DBK wheel to match the factory color 100%.

And there is no such thing as "Diamond Black touch up paint"...

Anyone who tells you different is a damn liar...

I know how BBS applies the complex Diamond Black finish at the factory, and no one in the wheel refinishing business is going to be able to match it perfectly.

A really good wheel refinisher can get it 'close', but that's about it. And you better do all 4 wheels at the same time or it will look terrible.

Diamond Black is a beautiful wheel color, but it's a pain in the arse to color match when it's time to refinish a wheel.

People have to understand that this particular finish is a one shot deal. Once the factory finish has deteriorated to the point where it's time to get them redone, you might as well paint them another color.
