They look nicely done, but I think the brushed ones looked great. I understand the black ones though.

If the first lasted you 6, this will last you 3. Both are nice though. I like #1 better.

The silver looked classy. The black look really sinister. Not sure which I like better. Does the front wheel stick out? It looks like it does.

Black wheels definitely work better with your blackout theme on the car. Now time for a drop

Sorry to say I agree. You lose all the detail in the wheels with black.

I also much prefer the first. I'm guessing the "black fad" will soon be on its way out.

I like the black wheels better, definitely more sporty and agressive. As for the loss of detail, I don't know about that . . . and it's a wheel, not a portrait or sculpture. Finally, no arguing it requires less cleaning and maintenance to keep its appearance up.

Actually, when talking about premium wheels, they are sculpture. With all the time and effort that goes into some of the elaborate designs, such as HRE, RAC, and others, I've often wondered why many people prefer to camoflage the art-work in black.

It is much more understandable with purely utilitarian simple wheel designs like Volks, etc.

i like the first set up more, just much cleaner and classier IMO.
and on the black setup, you went all black, might as well have gone with a 1 piece wheel if your gonna do that anyway.

+1 on the drop, you cant put 20s and not lower the car, sorry!

#1 way better. With all do respect, the black came out horrible, they just look like japanese reps now. I mean, the brushed/silver finished ones just looked more legit, now its just blah. If you wanted to get them repainted, i would of done something different, perhaps a dark face and brushed lip. Im sorry, but hey as long as you like em, enjoy bud.

I'm not a huge fan of black because it makes it more difficult to see the wheel. I am involved in showing German Shepherd dogs and the issue with pure blacks is it is difficult to evaulate their structure. They look like a flat piece of black plywood gaiting around the ring.

Having said that I would say that most younger car nuts now prefer black. And with your car I think they look very good. Would love to see the car in person as I suspect it is very impressive.
