Adaptive suspension became stiffer after iLevel update – anyone else?

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to understand a suspension issue that appeared after a software update, and I’m curious if anyone else has experienced something similar (not necessarily only on the 8 Series, but on any BMW with Adaptive M Suspension / EDC).
Car: BMW G15 840i xDrive (2022)
After a software update in 2024 (iLevel update), the behavior of the adaptive suspension changed significantly. Since then, the car feels:
•	noticeably stiffer over small road imperfections (expansion joints, rough asphalt)
•	less compliant / less “premium” in Comfort mode
•	more “artificial” in damping response compared to before
There are no fault codes in ISTA, and all systems appear to function normally from a diagnostic perspective.
To rule out hardware or calibration issues, I’ve already done the following:
•	replaced all 4 dampers (new)
•	replaced ride height sensors (new)
•	tested multiple VDP modules (3 different units)
•	flash + coding of VDP and DSC
•	factory coding on multiple modules (BDC, DSC, VDP, etc.)
•	multiple ride height calibrations (values are correct and consistent)
•	steering angle / DSC calibrations
•	checked live data (all values within normal range)
•	no active faults (only some historical / shadow faults after coding)
Important note:
The issue is not constant. Some days the suspension feels slightly better (more compliant), other days it feels stiffer again, without any mechanical changes.
Also, I noticed that the steering does not always increase effort properly in Sport / Sport Plus, which makes me suspect a possible integration or calibration issue between VDP / DSC / EPS.
At this point, I’m starting to suspect a software / calibration change introduced by the iLevel update (VDP / damping logic), rather than a hardware issue.
My questions:
•	Has anyone experienced similar behavior after a software update (stiffer ride, worse small bump absorption)?
•	Is this something known with newer iLevels?
•	Has anyone found a fix (coding, different CAFD, recalibration, etc.)?
Any feedback or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hey guys
So i finally picked my g11 740i but having the weirdest key issue. The key only works at the steering column. Locksmith said the key is sending a signal but if i get a new key it may not work since the original key doesn’t seem to be the problem. I tried replacing the battery too just in case. Another locksmith said it’s the radio control remote module. Anyone deal with this before? None of the buttons work on the remote and I’ve been quite 500 for replacing the module. Help!
