grey market copy that might not be legal? i don't understand this. microsoft offers academic priced versions of their products too which are 100% genuine and function the same. i have a 07 professional version. came factory sealed in the case, etc and says academic version. the students have special pricing for about $150. i got mine for $120 shipped.

i did the same with office 2003 pro. bought the student academic version for $120 too back in the day.

on ebay the retailers with student pricing rights. they require proof of academic such as school schedule, acceptence, etc but most of them don't even ask for it.

you can register office 07 pro 2 times, originally for one desktop and one laptop but w/e you want.
