325_bucks, here are the pics of the wireless charging bay and holder. The plus fits fine and there is some room either side so no issue with that. I've posted some of the x and the 6+ to show the difference in size. Hopefully your case is slim enough to fit but given how thick the display key is, your case can't be much thicker than that!
Hope these are of use (besides showing me how dirty the car is and that it needs a clean!) The photos should be self explanatory, but just in case, the first phone pic should be the 6+ and the second is the x (the one where you can still see the blue charging light showing...the + covers that up when it is in the holder).
