I didn't read this before my previous reply. Of course a used i3 is a perfect commuter vehicle for the area. All you need to do is upgrade the speakers (which is pretty easy) and it's a really great value. One of the most underrated cars!
Yeah, take a look at the i3! The only downside is that some don't like the looks, but I think it looks kinda cool in a dark color and you can get the windows tinted and such...
