I already debunked this multiple times and showed you trap speed data, it wasn't all about the speed on the w12 it was cornering too. The entire package was vastly better than the entire field minus redbull so it was easy to over take them. Then the new engine allowed the Merc to run at its full potential whereas before it was losing alot of power via degredation. So it was a blend of way better cornering and better power vs. the entire field just like the w11 was. Yet their trap speeds were no where near the top.
Mercedes never focused on out right speed it was always about downforce for them.
Strange when Max started from the back and finished in p2 you said it was all max despite the rb16b being superior to literally every car last season up until the end when Mercedes caught up. Guess it was just the car.
