Even in death, dad is teaching me things. I had never considered tracking expenses the way he did, especially relating to rental property (I never had any) Luckily my son worked about 4 years as his grandpa's secretary, so I got access to annual property spreadsheets. I just completed an audit of the bank statements so I could fill them in, as well as make a similar copy for my own use moving forward.
BUT, I'm turning into a packrat with those docs. I recently shredded my dad's tax records going back to
Nineteen hundred and sixty five. I was born in 1966
