No clue how BMW Charging works in the US, guess you get a BMW Charging Card at delivery of car and then login to set up payment details (in the same BMW Charging Portal.
In Europe (at least Sweden, Denmark and Germany), BMW Charging Card works at all DC-chargers I have tried and most AC-chargers. But so far Plug & Charge only at Ionity DC-chargers across Europe.

But mentions BMW partner Electrify America can use Plug & Charge.
So maybe just a little behind Europe for Plug & Charge, at least been able to show how nice Plug & Charge will work, once they get their act together....
