You could code HBA (high beam assist) on the f01/f02 because the lighting was under the control of the FRM (footwell module),. Your 2018 g12 does not have this module…lighting in the g12 is controlled by the BDC module. So if it is at all possible, you’ll need to look at the module…then see if someone has discovered if it is a possibility.
I haven’t seen anything yet…my f06 has HBA as default…but it has the FRM module like your old f02. But my f15 X5 can’t be coded to HBA as default (I’ve got to physically press the button on the turn indicator stalk)…and it has the BDC module which controls its lighting..like your g12.
