This smiley face on the new facelift S around the gloss-black front is even worse than the smiley face on the 7 in lighter colors with MSport. In fact the lighter color MSport 7s look much better now. I can be more frank on a BMW forum… it looks like Mbenz is trolling their customers with this combo.
I don’t care much about ICE cars, but frankly, it’s sad to see the S class on this path. Just put this front next to all prev generations and u’ll think this is a C or E class hanging around them. Pre-refresh front was not attractive (and just that).. now this one is truly straight ugly not just boring.

Band-aid solution. Overall improvement, but it's a still a mess. This is basically a larger E class, nothing unique about this model other than it's size. Hopefully MB addressed and improved the interior finishing, but at this point nothing surprises me. I'm sure the engineers at MB will be happy to move on from this entire W223 generation.
