Ok, while I was writing this I found it by pure chance. The problem was, at least in the Subscriptions link, that when in Dark Mode, you can't see the "..." on the right hand side. Well, I can now but barely and only because I know it's there. Attaching a screen shot.
Still confused by the greyed out Subscribe button in posts.

Looks good now. Still don't understand the always greyed out Subscribe button at the top right of posts though. It's just always there regardless if I'm subscribed to that post or not already and it never does anything when I click it.
