I would not go less than a 285 width on 10.5's
Also keep in mind the overall diameter of the wheel with the new tires, which I think you are, so thats good.
FYI, I just went 285/30/19 on my new set of wheels that are 10.5in. wide. IMO that will keep the best diameter without rubbing. This is a PS2 tire BTW.
