Noticed this on 2016 750i I picked up a couple thousand miles ago. Much faster to mid-temp than 435i or ‘09 Z4 I had prior.
Do I think it’s accurate? Maybe not but it also doesn’t show high temps. I think it’s got a lower temp threshold for the digital display to show that its warm.
Haven’t had heat on yet with this car either...
