An obvious bit: BMW is planning to have designs celebrating 50 years of M GmbH for multiple models with production dates between March 2022 and March 2023.

(Trying to redeem myself for not being the first to report on G81): I can now confirm that BMW has no plans to offer a US version of G81. For the rest of us, expect it no earlier than G21 LCI in mid-2022.

March 2021
For the readers outside North America: G81 will start production in November 2022 and have a full run up to the end of production of G21. There will be a single model: Comp xDrive. As expected, it will be in LCI configuration (for instance, the new i4 widescreen dash will be standard). As far as I can see, everything that you can have on a G80, will be available on G81.

Expected SOP dates for new models:
November 2022:
G81 M3 Touring Competition xDrive. (Or is it M3 Competition xDrive Touring? Or M3 Competition Touring xDrive? These days - no one knows.)
