Luckily i did not pay $6K. But i had it done the proper way. Heads off. If it takes 22 labor hours to do shit inside the engine I will not risk saving $2K to drop in reman crankshaft in. I’ll look for savings elsewhere. Some would throw in Chinese pistons in and “see how that goes”. I am one of those guys. I am not saying it will not work for some. I will just do my things my way. Maybe sometimes I’ll pay a little more but like I said. I will look for savings elsewhere. And I am not getting mad for people to do it other way. I make my decisions and if they are wrong I take full responsibility for them. I have nobody else to blame for them later. Kind of the way I do things in my life
