Seems low for a 740i.
I have a 16 750i - I am an aggressive driver with a mix of stop and go / highway driving. My average for the last year has been consistent at 17.9mpg. When I take long trips, I can average 25mpg to 29mpg.
Are you completely stock? As others have said, how's your driving habits and is it all city or a mix?
