For reference I'm getting about 17 mpg in my 2019 750ix with 85% city driving.
Similar results here for a 2020 750ix. On a recent 170 mile (85 mi round trip), mostly but not all highway), the mpg was about 26. I had an inline 6 735 some years ago, and felt the engine was okay, but just barely. The 750 loafs at 80 mph.
Exactly right. I averaged about 27.5 mph on a trip from Chicago to Toronto a few months back. That's probably all that the 6 cylinder could realistically muster on the highway, but please correct me if I'm wrong 740i owners.
