I was able to grab the same engine my car has on an X5 which is 500lb more and about 1mpg less efficient from factory but this one I got as a loaner with 100 miles so brand new, so at 22.9mph I'm getting 16.5mpg so in the end I don't think 15.x is not that bad for an almost 5 year old car
