I don't agree. Since it's a Lexus, the front will be dominated by the Spindle Grille. That's a given, but the headlight assembly is completely different, including the Nike-like Swoosh DRL that now sits above the headlights instead of below it. The hoodline is different, flowing more aggressively towards the top of the grille.

The rear is completely different with the full length taillights across the back, a design that was started years ago with the UX and the newest iteration of the IS, that is now the new design language across the Lexus lineup. The interior is completely new and much better than the previous generation.

Overall, I like the new look and agree with Alex above that it looks better than the X3.
