Basically the "New" CPO is now +1 year / unlimited miles, basically meaning

5 years bumper to bumper from first sale date; miles don't matter anymore.

And that extra year is the same as the original warranty, not an "extended" type warranty yes?

I drive a lot so that unlimited miles is actually quite good
TOTALLY INCORRECT

AS IS THE RESPONSE ABOVE

The link in the post above even states it is a limited warranty and NOT AN EXTENSION of the original 4 Year/50,000 mile warranty.

The warranty kicks in for 12 months once 50,000 miles is reached, so if the car reaches 50,000 miles in 30 months, the original warranty would expire and the CPO would then kick in and extend for 12 months of unlimited miles...or 42 months total in that example.

If you do not understand the MAJOR differences in coverage of the original warranty and a CPO, you need to do more research.
