No, you don't want it. I've ran SLI for as long as I can remember, and 1080 SLI is garbage. Microstuttering horribly with this generation, and I even have the HB bridge. I ran tests all day long before I gave up 1080 SLI, and just went with a single 1080 which is more than enough for max everything at 3440x1440 on my Acer X34 Predator.

I'm not the only person having SLI problems with the 1080s, they are very real. I wound up just selling my other one. I would highly recommend going with a single card for this generation, and possibly all generations going forward. SLI is being intentionally driven out.
