BMW uses a direct and indirect tire monitoring system. You used both acronyms in your post and did not indicate which system you actually have or which procedure you were using to code the system off? Do you have the TPM system (direct) or the FTM system (indirect).
It’s kind of easy to tell which system you have…when you pull up the tire monitoring screen, what does it say along the bottom? Does it say TPM or RDC (direct) or does it say FTM or RPA (indirect)
