This just cracks me up. Here you are telling us that we don't give a shit about "tomorrow" yet you advocate track driving an EV/Hybrid. I hope you can see the irony in what you are writing. You do understand that if one is considering his environmental impact on the planet by the size of the carbon footprint he creates, the LAST thing he would do is advocate racing a car on a track regardless of the car's drivetrain architecture. A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
