2009 750i misfires and code CD9304

Not that helpful, but I looked at getting one of these (not a 2009, but an N63 powered "hot V" engined 750 just the same) myself a few months ago. My favorite BMW salesperson ran the VIN through the BMW service records system, and saw that there was a "service pack" that had been done on all these engines by BMW without charge. I think it was something to do with replacing parts of the FI system, among other things. This particular car had (inexplicably) NOT had the service pack done, however, so I ran in the opposite direction as fast as I could.

He went on to say that these cars were notorious for having expensive, often intractable electrical gremlins.

Are you doing the work yourself, or having an independent or (gulp) BMW service center do the work?
