OP: Maybe you have underlying conditions that make you "feel" old at 50. Then I can understand where you're coming from.

TBH: I'm going to be 51 soon and I would daily drive an Ariel Atom if I could. I have a highly modified GTI and a '17 Porsche C2 - both cars are manual. When I drive the wife's X3, I'm a bit bored. Too soft, no manual and sitting up high isn't my thing for daily driving (although I'm really intrigued with the new Bronco for some reason).

Sorry you feel old at almost 50. If you can, make some life choices to take back your youth. I still do Spartan Races and actively cross-train on a daily basis to keep myself young and feeling good. Hope you're able to do the same.
