If the touch sensitive area where the heating or cooling buttons is missing, (for both driver and passenger side), then somehow you have a car without the option(s). Have you checked the VIN to see what was produced? If it isnt listed as an option, then I believe you are out of luck as the seats themselves would need replacement, along with the electronics.
