I’ve had two 2001 e38’s. Might have been my favorite cars ever, but far from the most reliable. I just don’t get people who want to talk about reliability with German cars. It’s so easy - you want a car with spirit, buy German. You want reliable but soulless, buy Japanese. We all know this is the deal. |
It's true. I'm not looking for reliability necessarily. Only the more reliable between the two. I'm a BMW guy…I know what I'm getting into. Just wondering if the scales tip one way or the other. I want the B7. I'm ok with maintenance and the occasional "well it's a BMW" repair. I suppose it's all down to how the previous owner took care of it.
We'll see what happens. My wife is on the SUV/truck train.
