I know BMW replaced my last one a few years back. I'm also aware of parasitic drains but unwilling to pinpoint it. Just not worth it at this stage. But I plan to have a indy shop replace it and I will make sure they register it. They use BMW certified techs are very reputable.

Do you think registering it now would be worth a try? But I suspect the dealer probably did.
