Starting idle problem
I have a 2001 740iL. I have replaced the fuel pump several times, blown out the fuel line, etc. but the car still is hard to start. It catches and then may run or stop. When it begins to run you have to let it sit and idle for several minutes before you can get any power out of the engine. Then it runs fine until you stop it, and it all starts again. I have taken it to a BMW shop, Christian Brothers, and my usual shop and nothing shows, or seems to be able to be found that is causing the problem. Anyone know what is going on?
