Hi all,

I'm a longtime member but new to this forum; I've been thinking about buying a B7. I went down to the dealer and spoke with a salesman who told me that they are difficult to get certified for the CPO program because they are extremely maintenance intensive and the repairs are so costly that it doesn't make sense for the dealer to sink the money into the car to get it certified.

I typically take the words of salesmen with a healthy dose of skepticism. I was hoping that B7 owners will chime in and share your ownership experience with me. Also, is there a big difference between pre- and post- facelift B7's? The technical specs seem awfully similar.
