I think several in this thread are misconstruing what I was stating in my posts.
I'll reiterate in summation:
1) I believe that everyone should get a flu shot, it helps reduce the chance of flu in you and reduces the chance of spreading it to others, especially those most susceptible.
2) Alternative treatments, such as emergen-c have been clinically proven to provide no benefit in reducing the chance of someone coming down with the flu or other illnesses.
