Maybe its because I don't live in a large metropolitan area, but I don't know anyone who is still unemployed because of covid, or that didn't go back to work once they were able to. I ask my friends and they all say the same thing. Asking the gf if businesses back home (I'm overseas) are struggling with staff and shes says it's not any worse than it was before covid. Again, maybe that's because I live in in a town of 18k people out in the sticks and we aren't lazy, but I don't see the shortage in workers like the media claims.
