That being said the 750 is a different animal and its effortless. When I drive the x5 and the 7 back to back its a pretty stark difference between the two.
Especially if you compare the 740ix to the E63s, that car is a beast and will make the 740 look like its standing still, its almost 2 seconds faster to 60.

I am a fairly aggressive driver, which is why I'm not sure the 740ix will be enough (which is sort of a ridiculous statement that a 4.8 second 0-60 isn't enough, but I welcome the horsepower wars). I do also appreciate a vehicle that handles well, and wonder if the weight of the V8 may cause some issues in that department. I had an Audi S6 prior to my G01, and there was a lot of weight over the front end, which could not be disguised with a rear sport differential and rear biased quattro. It could be the front drive architecture of the A6 shining through, but I only kept that car 10 months, and was hoping to hang on to my next vehicle for longer.
