I've encountered/hit several. Also, ex-wife has hit several and had girlfriends that have hit them. It's very common, especially during hunting season. I've only seen a herd like this once before. I was drafting a Penske truck (company rental relocating merchandising furniture from one at&t retail location to another) on the interstate once. Four ran out in front of him. One got away, he drilled the other three. The last one ended up in pieces all over my car. We both had to pull off the interstate. My car was absolutely covered in blood and various deer parts. Completely demolished the front of our rental truck. I had to find the nearest car wash just to be able to see to continue the drive. It was crazy. |
I've heard of cars being totaled because of this.
My biggest animal encounter on the road was with a raccoon. lol
