Lovely car and great spec. I also went from a 2014 535d to a 750, it’s a nice step up.
To get the full sound from the M Sport exhaust you need to be in Sport mode and have the gear selector to the left in Sport Auto. If you open the door you can hear the valves open and the noise change. I was in Birmingham on Monday and it sounded amazing in the tunnels!
No fake engine noise in the 750i, only the M760 and 750d have a sound generator.
