People have been asking me how to do this because I mentioned it in a post, but I'll post this here, where it belongs. I didn't figure this out right away, because it's most noticeable when on the desktop version.

When you are posting, place the "@" sign directly in front of a username. On the desktop, the name will be highlighted in a box, but on the app, it doesn't appear. But the result will be that the member will receive a notification that they have been mentioned in a post.

However, this feature has had problems recently. Let me see if Mark is still working on fixing this.
