Most dealers don't CPO M cars anyway so if you were considering an M nothing's really changed. The extended warranty is a better deal anyway since you can choose coverage terms and get a prorated refund if you punt the car. Only time CPO matters is if the packaged it with a finance promo. CPO was more about creating a new car experience with a used car purchase. They probably lost enough money with CPO over the years they would rather use those dollars to amp up new car sales and leases since used cars doesn't move metal out of the factories.
