That being said, this M5 was always going to be a hard follow up to E60 and its tremendous V10. What the E60 lacks in beauty compared to F10, it makes up for with character in strides (and poor reliability  ). The problem with the F10 is in my opinion the V8. BMW TTV8's are fast, but they lack character, and most of all, a proper soundtrack. I think both Audi and Mercedes do better in this department compared to the S63. |
100% agree. The engine is a masterpiece but is so quiet it might as well be a 7 Series. The Blackwing is a great example of having obscene power with character.
