Hi, I did a quick search and hadn't noticed anyone posting about it so thought I would share the news of the expanded recall action BMW have made in the last few days...
Affects diesel motors only (for this recall at least) and among other models/variants, of most interest to those here for 7 series:

I've seen the recall mentioned on a few sites and was checking to see if it might affect my G11. I came across this info about what 7 series models it may affect so this UK page may be of interest to those of you with an F01/F02...obviously for other countries do check if it applies to you via other trusted means.

I can't vouch for the 7 series models/years affected but hopefully we'll see the YouGov sites updated soon, maybe worth asking your dealership.
